BIG Public Harinama performance Today, Special Sankirtana Seminar on Saturday, 7:29 am, 10th Anniversary of arrival of Lord Narashingadeva on 9/11

We would like to send a gentle reminder and invitation for the Big Public Harinama performance at our favorite spot Lytton Plaza ( Intersection of University Ave and Emerson) starting 6:59 pm, today

On Saturday His Grace Vaiseiska Prabhu has kindly agreed to deliver a Very Special Sankirtana Web Seminar starting 7:29 am at ISV temple covering below :

  • Learn, review the basics:
  • How to sell a transcendental book on it's own merit
  • Why book distribution is high sadhana
  • How to leave everyone you meet with a good impression
  • How to become fixed in Krsna consciousness and go back to

For Harinama tonight, please come on time and bring as many friends and relatives you can.  Today is appearance Day of Srila Bhakti Vinoda Thakur and we would together loudly glorify the Lord by singing His  names and dance for His pleasure and to get Thakur's attention and mercy.  Devotees at ISV plan to convert such Harinams  as a festival and would need your help and ideas.

"The most important factor in this Age of Kali, which is an ocean of faults, is that one can be free from all contamination and become eligible to enter the kingdom of God simply by chanting the holy names. The self-realization that was achieved in the Satya millennium by meditation, in the Treta millennium by the performance of different sacrifices, and in the Dvapara millennium by worship of Lord Krsna can be achieved in the Age of Kali simply by chanting the holy names." This Sunday 9/11 is the 10 anniversary for the arrival of Lord Narashingadeva at ISV. Get Mercy and protection from our dear most merciful Lordships.

We would continue hearing, chanting,reading and distributing Srila Prabhupada books as essence of our continuous offerings to Srila Prabhupada and Parampara.

This week's schedule is as follows:

Wednesday evening, Sep  07, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: ISV Temple
Ekadasi and fast for Lord Vamanadeva.

Srimad Bhagvad Gita and Sri Isopanishad class by His Grace Vaisesika Prabhu followed by estatic Kirtan & Prasadam.*

Please come up with ideas to  brainstorm on strategies and actions on how we can make ISV Harinamas better and create an auspicious environment of festivals at ISV.


Thursday Breakfast 6:43 to 10:57 and Appearace Day of Lord Sri Vamanadeva ( Vamana Dvadasi- fasting done on Wed) 

Friday evening, Sep  09, 6:59 PM onwards : Palo Alto Downtown, 
Please rush and run for the Harinama scheduled at 6:59 PM at Palo Alto Downtown at University Ave and Emerson Street. We intend to have overflow of Bhakti Innovation ideas implemented with each of your help.

We would like to celebrate 10 anniversary of arrival of Lord Narashinga deva at ISV. 
Sunday Feast Lecture by His Grace  Vaisesika Prabhu, followed by Aarti and Prasadam*.

* Prasadam: Sanctified vegetarian food which is offered to the Lord

IMPORTANT PARKING INSTRUCTIONS: We will NOT be able to park in any of the
spaces in front of the shops next to the temple. (Including the Check Cashing
 store,  the barber shop, etc.) We will also not be able to park along the wall
adjacent  to the temple. The landlord of these shops has a new parking policy
 and will tow  any cars parked there that are not patrons of their shops.

Street side parking is available on streets near the intersection of Del
Mar  Ave and Lynnhaven Dr (for example on Lynnhaven Dr, on Roenoke Way, on Del
 Mar  Ave, etc.). If you park your car in front of a home, please do not block
 their  driveway. Del Mar Ave runs parallel to Bascom ave. There is a small
drive  way  (belongs to Streetlight Records; you can see this on Google maps
satellite  view)  that joins Bascom and Del Mar Ave located in between Lynnhaven
Dr and Roenoke Way. This is a short cut way to walk to the temple after parking
your  car.
