We moved to the new temple today, on the auspicious appearance day of Lord Ramachandra. Srila Prabhupada inaugurated the ISKCON's first Krsna Balaram Mandir in Vrindavana dham in 1975 on the auspicious day of Sri Rama Navami. On this same auspicious day, ISKCON of Silicon Valley (ISV) welcomed  their beloved Deities, Sri Sri Radha Madanmohan, Sriman Mahaprabhu and Sri Sri Laxmi Narasimhadeva at Their new temple in Mountain View, California.   

This is a gentle reminder for the weekend's special Sri Rama Navami events. We extend a warm welcome to all of you to please join as we celebrate these glorious moments.

RAMA SMARANAM - Music & Dance Festival

ISKCON of Silicon Valley (ISV) is hosting a grand music & dance festival on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami on Saturday, April 20^th 2013 from 3:00 – 8:00 PM. The festival beings with a grand Tyagaraja Aradhana featuring many musicians from the Bay area followed by vocal and dance performances by various music and dance schools from the community. There is also a live puppet show on Ramayana for adults and children.

The schedule for this festival is as follows:

3.00 - 4.30pm: Invocation—Thyagaraja Aradhana 

4.30 - 5.30pm: Vocal solo/group performances

5.30 - 6.30pm: Dance solo/group performances

6.30 - 7.00pm: Welcome Note by H.G. Vaisesika Dasa

7.00 - 7.30pm: Live Puppet Show on Ramayana

7.30 - 8.00pm: Kirtans & Arathi 

          8.00pm: Prasadam

FIRST SUNDAY FEAST AT THE     NEW TEMPLE 

We will be having our first Sunday feast program at the new temple in Mountain View on April 21 2013. We extend a warm welcome to you and your family in joining us for this joyous occasion.

The schedule is as follows:

4.00 - 5.15pm: Special Lecture on Ramayana by HG Vaisesika Dasa

5.15 - 5.45pm: "Matchless Gifts" - Play by Vedic Academy's Sunday school 

6.00 pm: Lots of Kirtans followed by Arotik

7.00 pm: Prasadam

PARKING INFORMATION:

Please take note of the parking information. We have got special permissions to park at the following locations for this weekend's festivities from April 19 -21. We kindly request you to park only at those locations and other permitted street parking spaces. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN ANY OF THE NEARBY APARTMENT COMPLEXES. You can park your vehicles at the following locations:

1.    Mancini's Sleepworld: 2034 W El Camino Real, Mountain View, CA 94040

2.    La Cabana Pupuseria: 1910 W El Camino Real, Mountain View, CA 94040

3.    Any of the valid street parking spaces on Latham Street and W El Camino Real.

We will have our parking service volunteers who will be able to direct/help you with parking your vehicles. Please note that these parking lots are only a minute away from the temple. Sorry for inconvenience. If there are any questions related to parking, please call Damodar @ 949 981 4976
