We have started counting the moments for the grand festival of the year, Sri Krsna Janmashtami, which will be celebrated tomorrow, August 28th (Wednesday) 2013 starting from 4.30 am onwards until midnight at the ISKCON of Silicon Valley (ISV). We extend a warm welcome to you, your family and friends to join us for the auspicious Janmashtami celebrations tomorrow. There are programs throughout the day with special events in the evening that includes Kirtans, Sri Krsna Abhishek, Cultural programs, Discourses, Jhulan Seva, Arati and much more.
The auspicious day of the appearance of Lord Krishna is celebrated all over the world as Sri Krishna Janmashtami. It is celebrated on the eighth day of the Krishna Paksha (waning moon) of the month of Shravan. Krishna, who is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, appeared in Mathura as son of Vasudeva and Devaki.
On Thursday, August 29th, we will be celebrating the Appearance day festival of our Founder Acharya, His Divine Grace A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Please come and join us for this festival as well.

SRILA PRABHUPADA VYASA PUJA 2013

Vyasa Puja is an annual celebration by the devotees of Lord Krishna to offer homage to their guru, or spiritual master. Although the International Society for Krsna Consciousness has many spiritual masters, or acharyas, Srila Prabhupada, the founder acharya, holds a permanent position of special esteem. So just as when he was physically present (1965 through 1977), each year the devotees gather on his appearance day to pay their gratitude and recall his glories.
ISKCON of Silicon Valley (ISV) extends a warm welcome to you and your family for joining us to celebrate this auspicious occasion.

We have got special permissions to park at the following locations during the Janmashtami festival. We kindly request you to park only at those locations and other permitted street parking spaces.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN ANY OF THE NEARBY APARTMENT COMPLEXES. Your vehicle will be towed away
Please take note of the parking information
• Absolutely no parking at Sizzler. Your vehicle will be towed away. Please note that the walking gate entrance into the temple premises from El Camino side through Sizzler is closed
•• Your safety is utmost important.
• Be careful about kids playing outside on Latham Street, it is a busy street, therefore, we need your help to ensure safely of everyone.

• Parking Capacity: ~100
• We will run shuttle service from Parking lot 1 to the TEMPLE.
• Shuttle will run from 6pm onwards. Frequency: 10 min.
Parking lot 2 Location:
• Location address: Mariano Castro Elementary School, 505 Escuela Ave, Mountain View, CA
• Parking capacity: 40: Walking distance: ~4 min
Parking lot 3 location:
• Location address: Mancini's Sleepworld 2034 W El Camino Real, Mountain View, CA
• Parking capacity: 60: Walking distance: ~7-8 min
