FRIDAY, Feb 27 - HARINAAM SANKIRTAN

The Yuga dharma for this Age of Kali is "Nama Sankirtan", the congregational chanting of Lord's names. Harinam Sankirtan, also known as Nagar Sankirtana, was inaugurated by Lord Chaitanya over 500 years ago to publicly chant these names and not only benefit oneself but also give it out freely to others. Lord Chaitanya stressed that the chanting of the Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare is the easiest means of self-realization.

You are cordially invited to join us for performing the Yuga Dharma Harinam Sankirtan in Palo Alto. Please join us for a happy dance party and musical chanting of the Lord's Holy Names.

When: Friday, February 27th@ 6.59pm (Please come as early as possible)
Where: Lytton Plaza on University Avenue (220 University Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94301)

SATURDAY, Feb 28 - SRIMAD BHAGAVATAM DISCOURSE

"This Srimad Bhagavatam is the literary incarnation of God, and it is compiled by Srila Vyasadeva, the incarnation of God. It is meant for the ultimate good of all people, and it is all-successful, all-blissful and all-perfect." (Suta Goswami, S.B.3.40). Srila Prabhupada states, " Srimad-Bhagavatam carries with it all the transcendental blessings of Lord Sri Krishna that we can expect from His personal contact."

Please join us for our weekly Srimad Bhagavatam discourses every Saturday morning at ISV.

7.30am: Brahma Samita followed by Discourse on Srimad Bhagavatam by H.G Vaisesika Das

SATURDAY, Feb 28 - Complete Yoga Package

You are invited to the complete yoga package which includes Yoga asanas, breathing exercises (pranayama), Vedic wisdom, and introspective meditation. We strive diligently to overcome many fears, however the necessary security measures like insurances, helmets, health checkups fail to remove from us a disconcerting sense of fear and insecurity. The Vedic texts explain that all fear originates in an unbalanced material conception of life. Beyond the stage of material activity that preoccupies our mind lies a vast, unexplored realm of spiritual tranquility.

When: Saturday, February 28, 2015, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Where: 1965 Latham Street, Mountain View, CA 94040
