WEDNESDAY JUNE 7 - GITA WISDOM   Snana yatra is the bathing ceremony observed in Jagannath Puri which marks the first occasion in the year when the deities of Jagannath, Baladeva and Subhadra are brought out and given ceremonial bath. After the snana yatra, the Lords are traditionally believed to fall ill and are kept in a private room for a fortnight to recuperate in privacy. This is a great period of separation for the devotees who cannot get to see their beloved Lords. How do we understand this pastime of the Lord? A volunteer will send you an evite when a Kirtan Mellows event would be scheduled near you.  ISV's (New) NAVADWIP PRESCHOOL Navadwip Preschool is a new education initiative of ISV that is meant for kids of age 3 to 5 year old. It is  open Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 12 noon and is located in Sunnyvale at the intersection of El Camino and Mary. The start date is November 29, 2016. You can enroll for this preschool for your child at the earliest. The curriculum is based on California (CA) state standards educational structure as well as Vedic Culture. A foreign language Sanskrit with structured instructions will also be a part of the curriculum.
