Donation amount for the Sunday Feast is $301 only TUESDAY, AUGUST 15 - GRAND JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATIONS This year Sri Krishna Janmashtami, Lord Krishna's divine appearance day, falls on August 15th, Tuesday. We are planning a spectacular festival. Starting 4:30 am until 1:00 am for Lord Krishna's pleasure. Grand celebrations will be filled with continuous bhajans, kirtans, Krishna Katha, puja offerings etc, ending with the midnight arati, kirtan, and Prasad distribution. Free dinner, Prasad feast, will be served to all. There will be also special children's activities. The detailed schedule will be sent out in next few days.  IMPORTANT- Volunteers Needed for Aug 14th, 15th & 16th!!!  We have 32 Teams and the approximately 152 volunteers are needed. Please contact us to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. Let's join hands so we can ensure that all aspects of the program become successful. Traditionally, Janmashtami is a time of giving. Devotees donate towards the worship of Sri Krishna. We have sponsorship and service opportunities as we are expecting over 8000 visitors to the temple throughout the day. A volunteer will send you an evite when a Kirtan Mellows event would be scheduled near you.  ISV's (New) NAVADWIP PRESCHOOL Navadwip Preschool is a new education initiative of ISV that is meant for kids of age 3 to 5 year old. It is  open Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 12 noon and is located in Sunnyvale at the intersection of El Camino and Mary. The start date is November 29, 2016. You can enroll for this preschool for your child at the earliest. The curriculum is based on California (CA) state standards educational structure as well as Vedic Culture. A foreign language Sanskrit with structured instructions will also be a part of the curriculum.
