Kartika is the best, the purest of purifiers, and most glorious of all month and is particularly dear to Lord Krsna. This year this auspicious month spans from Oct 14 - Nov 11. As instructed by H.G. Vaisesika Prabhu, we will be reciting Bhagavad Gita Chapter 10 as part of CHAD everyday. There will also be evening Arthi & Damodarastakam recitation daily @ ISV. Vrindavan Priya Prabhu will go over the basics of Sankhya Philosophy as explained in Bhagavad Gita. Preliminary justification for the ideas of "Phenomenal and Conceptual space" (applied while discussing Vedic Cosmology seminar) will be given. It will be shown how Sankhya gives us access to a stunning worldview, even a basic understanding of which can help practicing devotees rapidly advance in Krishna Consciousness. 7.30am: Bhagavata Sankhya Seminar - Part 1  by H.G Vrindavan Priya Prabhu 10:00am: Guru puja followed by Prasadam SUNDAY, OCT 13 - SPECIAL LECTURE ON "BOUND BY LOVE - PRINCIPLES FROM DAMODARA LILA" Krishna is full of sweetness and this sweetness is expressed through loving relationships. These exchanges take place in the form of divine play, or lila. Among the many beautful lila's, there is a special expression of love between Krishna and His Mother, Yasoda know as Damodara-lila. During the month of Kartik, the Hari Bhakti Vilasa explains that one should worship Lord Damodara and daily recite the prayer known as Damodarasktakam.  Join us as we explore this sweet pastime of Krishna – Damodara-lila, and discover how the unconquerable Krishna becomes conquered. 4.00 pm - 5.30 pm - Special Lecture on "Bound by Love - Principles from Damodara Lila" by   H.G.
