Today marks the auspicious Bhadra Purnima!
Srimad-Bhagavatam (12.13.13) states, "If on the full moon day of the month of Bhadra, one places Srimad-Bhagavatam on a golden throne and gives it as a gift, he will attain the Supreme transcendental destination."
A "Maha Bhadra Dana Yajna" is being organized, on behalf of all Bhadra Campaign participants, to bring auspiciousness to the whole world and to glorify the Bhagavata Purana, the ripened fruit of the Vedas. This yajna will be organized in Ahobilam, the transcendental place of Lord Nrismha's appearance. The yajna ceremony will feature guests from around the world and will be broadcast live on ISV channels.
More than 650 families from ISV are participating in this Yajna.
