The remedy for eliminating all inauspicious things within the heart is to associate with the Bhagavatas, and receive transcendental knowledge from them. By doing so, all the obstacles in one's life is destroyed and one can become fixed in loving service to the Lord. (The cross street will be either Emerson or Bryant, depending on the best facility available. So if you don't see devotees at University and Emerson, go east toward Bryant and look there!)

Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu introduced the public chanting of the holy names of God for the benefit of every living entity. Please join us for this all-perfect, all-blissful activity that is specifically prescribed for this age as the cure for all anxieties and anomalies caused by the material conception of life. This is a wonderful opportunity to offer our hearts to Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur by chanting the holy names and distributing Vedic literatures thereby assisting in the expansion of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu's Sankirtana movement. 

There will be a special kids performance, where all our children will be dressed as the various associates of Mahaprabhu and will be engaged in singing, dancing and playing instruments in groups just as the way the Nagar sankirtan was performed during Mahaprabhu's times. Please bring your children dressed in traditional dhoti and kurtha for boys and gopi dress/saris for girls. Do not miss this auspicious occasion as we all come together to compassionately share our good fortune with the people of Bay area and thus inundate the entire city of Palo Alto with Mahaprabhu's mercy.

THE GOSWAMIS OF VRINDAVANA – Part 6: SRILA GOPALA BHATTA GOSWAMI

Join us to hear about the teachings and qualities of Srila Gopala Bhatta Goswami who is one of the foremost disciples of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and one of the members of the prominent six Goswamis of Vrindavan. Together the six goswamis established the philosophical writings and records which became the theological basis of the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition. Sri Gopala Bhatta Goswami was the son of Vyenkata Bhatta, a resident of Srirangam. He formerly belonged to the disciplic succession of the Ramanuja-sampradaya but later became part of the Gaudiya Sampradaya.
