HARE KRSNA!

Dear Friends,

Hope this meets you all well.

Each of us has only a set number of days to live out our lives on this earth. Every moment that one engages in bhakti is a moment well used.

The sages at Naimisarnya say: “Both by rising and by setting, the sun decreases the duration of life of everyone, except one who utilizes the time by discussing topics of the all-good Personality of Godhead.”

We extend a warm invitation to all of you to join us for a Special Harinama Party at San Francisco on Friday, November 28th 2014 @ 10:59am. This is an annual event organized by ISV. Please join us with your family and friends! We request each of you to wear warm clothings as it is going to be cold.

TUESDAY, Dec 2nd - Gita Jayanti - Advent of Srimad Bhagavad-Gita

All of us are indebted to Lord Krishna for speaking the Bhagavad-gita. “Krishna is so merciful that simply by aiming His instructions at Arjuna, He has given protection to the whole world." (Sri Caitanya Caritamrta Madhya lila 22.56)

Gita Jayanti is a unique opportunity to remember Krishna by chanting the Gita with full concentration in the association of devotees.

You are invited for Gita Jayanti Celebrations at ISV on Tuesday,  December 6th,  starting at 6pm. There will be a special recitation of Srimad Bhagvad Gita led by His Grace Vaisesika Prabhu, followed by Ekadashi Prasadam.
