READING FROM SRIMAD BHAGAVATAM

Join us for a special reading of Lord Krsna's pastimes from the Tenth canto of Srimad Bhagavatam from Chapter 16 entitled, " Krsna Chastises the Serpent Kaliya" on Saturday morning. This chapter describes Lord Krsna's pastime of subduing the serpent Kaliya within the lake adjoining the river Yamuna and His showing mercy to Kaliya in response to the prayers offered by Kaliya' wives, the Nagapatnis.

Reading  Srimad Bhagavatam is the remedy for eliminating all inauspicious things within the heart that are considered obstacles in the path of self-realization. The activity of reading this great spiritual literature is like churning the heart of all impurities and establishing oneself in the mode of unalloyed goodness. Such an engagement gives one all success and takes directly to the abode of the Supreme Lord, our ultimate destination. Join us this Sunday evening for an enlivening discussion on this topic!
