Verifiable Symptoms of an Advanced Vaisnava

Learn the verifiable symptoms of spiritual advancement as taught in the bonafide scriptures.

"Spiritual masters do not become perfect souls by the dint of their serving as initiating gurus. Neither do they become perfect simply because they are supported by zealous neophyte disciples. The only indication of a devotee's degree of advancement is the presence of the discernible qualities that have systematically been described in scripture. Therefore one should evaluate Vaisnavas in general and spiritual masters in particular by the presence or absence of these qualities." (SRS: Suddha-bhakti-cintamani p. 212)

 Speaker: HG Vaisesika Dasa

Venue: ISKCON of Silicon Valley

7.30 – 10.00 am: Brahma Samhita recitation & Srimad Bhagavatam Discourse

ATTN: All Parents- From Jagarani Devi Dasi

Dear ISV Parents,

Please accept my humble obeisances.  All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

At ISV, the children are a big priority.  We care greatly for their well being and spiritual development.  We realize that  "it takes a village" to assist parents in raising first class devotee children.  Therefore, we have enlarged and dedicated two rooms at our new temple building to be used as classrooms.  The Sunday school staff are excited to make use of the expanded facility and are already planning new ways to engage the kids there.

Please join me for a VERY IMPORTANT DISCUSSION:

"Team ISV children and the new temple: better facility, more engagement, rules to guide them towards devotion"

I understand that everyone is very busy and time is precious but I urge you to attend this discussion to have a voice in the policies re the children at the new temple.  Please make time for this important meeting.

Date: This Sunday, 1/13/13
Time: 3:00 PM, before the feast program
Place: Bascom Temple

Your servant,
