Born William Suczek, he spent his teens searching for God and for the meaning of life. His prayers and intense austerities, which included vows of poverty, fasting, silence – unusual for a teenager – resulted in him meeting his spiritual master, A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder of the International Society for Krsna Consciousness through the inspiration derived from his books. In a short time, he received spiritual initiation from him and received the name, Vaisesika Dasa. Since 1973, Vaisesika Dasa, has been traveling. lecturing, counseling and inspiring many spiritual aspirants all over the world. He currently lives in San Francisco, California and serves as the President of the ISKCON of Silicon Valley (ISV) and has implemented several projects over there. His contributions are endlessly dynamic and he is loved and respected by all for his charisma and vast Vedic knowledge.
