Nrisimha Chaturdasi is celebrated at ISV with a lot of splendor. Devotees fast till dusk and many programs unfurl during that time. Beautiful dramas enacted by the children of Gopal’s Fun School bring out the essence of this pastime of the Lord. It is meant for the ultimate good of all people, and it is all successful, all blissful and all perfect." (Suta Goswami SB3.40). Srila Prabhupada states,"Srimad Bhagavatam carries with it all transcendental blessings of Lord Sri Krsna that we can expect from his personal contact". We are pleased to invite you for this week's Srimad Bhagavatam discourse.

SATURDAY, MAY 21 - THE COMPLETE YOGA PACKAGE

You are invited to the complete yoga package which includes Yoga asanas, breathing exercises (pranayama), Vedic wisdom, and introspective meditation. We strive diligently to overcome many fears, however the necessary security measures like insurances, helmets, health checkups fail to remove from us a disconcerting sense of fear and insecurity. The Vedic texts explain that all fear originates in an unbalanced material conception of life. Beyond the stage of material activity that preoccupies our mind lies a vast, unexplored realm of spiritual tranquility.

Kamaniya and Keshavacharya are kirtaneers, touring internationally as the sacred music duo Prema Hara. Attracted by Bhakti Yoga, the path of devotion, both have spent many years living in ashrams, searching for the divine through devotional service and singing. Seeing so many people’s hearts transformed through the power of chanting sacred mantras, they were inspired to commit their lives to sharing the universal practice of kirtan with the world. Prema Hara has toured extensively throughout the USA & Europe, quickly gaining recognition as one of the West’s most prominent mantra music bands.
