Dear Friends and Patrons

Hope this meets you all well.

Nothing is impossible for the Lord and therefore nothing is impossible for the one who takes shelter in the dust of the lotus feet of the Lord.

There is no dearth to festivities at ISV. It's a place of sheer joy where the heart is filled with love and the lives are enriched with devotion. We invite you to join us with your family and friends this coming weekend as we celebrate the appearance day of our dear leader, H.G Vaisesika Prabhu on Saturday (typically referred to as Vyasa Puja) followed by a spiritual initiation (diksa) ceremony on Sunday. Don't miss it!

This week we have:

Wednesday: Gita Wisdom by H.G Vaisesika Prabhu

Saturday: Vyasa Puja celebrations of H.G Vaisesika Prabhu

Sunday: Initiation Ceremony & Sunday Feast Talk by H.G Vaisesika Prabhu

Watch us Live! In case you are unable to make it, you can also join us through audio conference or watch live broadcast. The details are available at www.IskconSiliconValley.com.

WEDNESDAY,  OCT 3 - GITA WISDOM

Join us for our Wednesday night Gita class and take shelter of the soothing words of Lord Krsna in the Gita!  Bhagavad-gita is just like a cow. Lord Krishna, who is famous as a cowherd boy, is milking this cow. Arjuna is just like a calf, and learned scholars and pure devotees are to drink the nectarean milk of Bhagavad-gita.(Gita-mahatmya 6)

Please join us as we honor Vaisesika Prabhu for his immense work to spread Krsna Consciousness following in the footsteps of his spiritual master, Srila Prabhupada on Saturday, October 6th. Vyasapuja is an annual celebration by the devotees to offer homage to their guru or spiritual teacher. SUNDAY, OCT 7 - INITIATION & SUNDAY FEAST

It is our language, either spoken or written, that moves and shapes our lives. In fact, all creations, including the creation of our universe, are preceded by language. What then is the power of repeating the Maha-mantra or the Gayatri mantras, which emanate from the spiritual world? There will be a number of devotees taking Harinam initiation from H.G Vaisesika Prabhu on this day.

We cordially welcome you to our Sunday feast program this week which includes Kirtan, Krishna Katha, Arotik and delicious prasadam!

3:00pm - 5:00pm: Initiation Ceremony & Talk by H.G Vaisesika Das

5:00pm: Sandhya Aartik followed by Announcements and Prasadam

We will offer the bhoga to the Deities and serve prasadam to all the devotees in your name. Donation amount for the Sunday Feast is $301 only
