Each episode is a dialogue between two birds - "Karmi" (jiva-atma) & "Premi" (param-atma) who have lived together from time immemorial in the land of "hrd-dese". Life over life, the former spent its time eating the fruits of karma while latter kept a patient vigil. In the first dialogue - Premi convinced its sakha to adopt a path of surrender. The next dialogue raised aspects about the quality of surrender leading to complete surrender. In the third dialogue - mischievous Karmi enquired if Krishna exhibits vices, since He is sarva-karana-karanam. In the fourth dialogue, fear of "Hari" (one who takes away) was raised.
