Dear Friends and Patrons.

Hope this meets you all well. The auspicious month of Kartik lasts till on Monday, November 7th,2022. Kartik is the purest of purifiers, and most glorious of all months and is particularly dear to Lord Krsna. Any austerity, even the smallest, will yield huge results and is very pleasing to Lord Radha Madan Mohan. As suggested by H.G. Vaisesika Prabhu, a simple 5-minute CHAD austerity you can perform this month is to recite Bhagavad-Gita Chapter 14 every day without fail.

"Of all the devotees, this Govardhana Hill is the best! O my friends, this hill supplies Krishna and Balarama, along with Their calves, cows, and cowherd friends, with all kinds of necessities: water for drinking, very soft grass, caves, fruits, flowers, and vegetables. In this way, the hill offers respect to the Lord. Being touched by the lotus feet of Krishna and Balarama, Govardhana Hill appears very jubilant. (Srimad Bhagavatam 10.21.18)"

CHAPTER-A-DAY (CHAD) - BHAGAVAD GITA

"As Arjuna set aside his bow and arrows, let us set aside any sense of confidence in our own abilities so that we may hear Krsna's words with full heart and attention. This kind of submissive hearing is the primary requirement for advancement in spiritual life. The devotee who hears Krsna's words with a submissive heart immediately feels an ingress of causeless knowledge and detachment." - H. G. Vaisesika Prabhu
