Weekly Programs + Ekadashi CHAD reminder

Dear ISV Devotees,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Join us at ISV and enjoy the bliss in the association of  HG Vaisesika Prabhu and HG Satyadev Prabhu.

"We must always engage our minds in reading these Vedic literatures. Just as materialists engage their minds in reading newspapers, magazines and so many materialistic literatures, we must transfer our reading to these literatures which are given to us by Vyasadeva; in that way it will be possible for us to remember the Supreme Lord at the time of death. That is the only way suggested by the Lord, and He guarantees the result: There is no doubt. - (Introduction to Bhagavad Gita by Srila Prabhupad).

Per our six month CHAD plan we start reading the 1st chapter of Bhagavad-Gita from this Ekadashi.

This Week's Program schedule is as follows:-

Wednesday evening, Jan 18th, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM:

Thursday Jan 19th Fasting for Sat-tila Ekadasi. Recite 1st chapter of Bhagavad Gita until 16th Feb.
Friday Jan 20th :  Break fast 07:18 - 10:38am

Saturday morning, Jan 21st, 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM:

Discourse by HG Vaisesika Prabhu followed by Guru Puja, Kirtan and Prasadam*

IMPORTANT PARKING INSTRUCTIONS: We will NOT be able to park in any of the spaces in front of the shops next to
the temple. (Including the Check Cashing store, the barber shop, etc.) We will also not be able to park along the wall adjacent to the temple. The landlord of these shops has a new parking policy and will tow any cars parked there that are not patrons of their shops.

Street side parking is available on streets near the intersection of Del Mar Ave and Lynnhaven Dr (for example on Lynnhaven Dr, on Roenoke Way, on Del Mar Ave, etc.). If you park your car in front of a home, please do not block their driveway. Del Mar Ave runs parallel to Bascom ave. There is a small drive way (belongs to Steetlight Records; you can see this on Google maps satellite view) that joins Bascom and Del Mar Ave
located in between Lynnhaven Dr and Roenoke Way. This is a short cut way to walk to the temple after parking your car.
