Re: Big Harinaam in memory of Rasika-Sekhar Prabhu - from His Grace Sri krishna Purushottam prabhu

All Glories to God Almighty!

It is so satisfying to see that ISKCON has spared no efforts to celebrate the life of Prabhuji Raxit Shekharji.  My next radio show tomorrow at 11:00 am to 12:00 pm (Saturday, Nov 24th) on Radio Zindagi 1550AM is being dedicated to him also.

Humbly,

Bindya Sharad

Dear ISV Devotees,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

We are grieving for our dear most  Rasika-Sekhar Prabhu, the pillar of ISV, the heart of ISV sankirtan team and Krsna's most dear servant. We are at great loss without his association. Team ISV is going to dedicate this marathon for Rasika-Shekhar Prabhu.

Last year myself and
Rasika-Sekhar Prabhu car pooled together to the city for harinaam. I am still remembering those moments.  He loves to preach to who ever he meets with and distributed Srila Prabhupada books. Recently Prabhuji went to Europe on business trip and distributed books to the top universities and his co-workers.

He never say no to anybody for any service always proactive and done excellent service to Sri Sri Radha Madan Mohan and Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu sankirtan movement.  I went to Prabhuji room yesterday next to his bed he kept ISV
Harinaam cards and square credit card readers. Tears in my eyes!! So dedicated!  "Life and Soul to expand Sankirtan movement" Last Saturday Prabhuji came with me to sankirtan  he is very happy out 10 8 took books in Cupertino.  Last door prabhu knocked and she was very happy for spreading the Supreme knowledge of Bhagavad gita.  She spoke with prabhu for more than 20 mins. Prabhuji told me I am very  encouraged by her words. We will remember Rasika-Sekhar Prabhu and distribute the books. Please come and pray and sing and distribute for prabhuji.
Thank you--- yhs, Sri Krishna Purusottama das

We all have served together in the mission of Lord Chaitanya for several years and it is hard to carry on in his absence. Over the years we have several memories and we are consoling each other with those memories. When devotees are sharing those experiences, our love for Rasika-Shekhar Prabhu is increasing more and more. Alas! We could have spent more time with him.

On the last Harinaam at Palo Alto only with only a few devotees present, Rasika-Shekhar Prabhu was leading an ecstatic kirtan and after the kirtan, he invited the entire city of Palo Alto for a free pancake breakfast at 951 S Bascom Ave and he was smiling in his usual way. Whenever I think of him, I can remember his innocent and playful smile. He was there at every program and Harinaam unless he has some other prior commitment.

I was remembering how he was organized, simple, positive and meticulous in his service. He has dedicated his life and his house for Sankirtan. When the last month's BBT newsletter came out, ISV was #2 among all the temples in north America (big, small and medium) and #1 among medium and small temples. He was so happy to announce that in the temple.

In his memory we are going to have a big public Harinaam in San Francisco this Friday, the day after thanks giving. We can sing the holy names, remember, pray for him and spread the holy names. Please join and sing for a few minutes!

Working for material gain is difficult and unsatisfying in the end. --HG Vaisesika Prabhu

Prahlada Maharaja tells us why: "A materialistic person, thinking himself very advanced in intelligence, continually acts for economic development. But again and again, as enunciated in the Vedas, he is frustrated by material activities, either in this life or in the next. Indeed, the results one obtains are inevitably the opposite of those one desires."
