There are programs throughout the day with special events in the evening that includes Kirtans, Sri Krsna Abhishek, Discourses, Jhulan Seva, Arati and much more. Although the International Society for Krsna Consciousness has many spiritual masters, or acharyas, Srila Prabhupada, the founder acharya, holds a permanent position of special esteem. So just as when he was physically present (1965 through 1977), each year the devotees gather on his appearance day to pay their gratitude and recall his glories.
