Bhaktivedanta Swami Śrīla Prabhupāda and under the expert leadership of our Temple President His Grace Vaiseṣika Prabhu, we are please to announce the launch of “The Gosvāmī Package” – an offering to six Gosvāmīs of Vṛṇdāvana, to propagate their teachings in the form of their literatures, which have been so adeptly translated by Śrīla Prabhupāda and his disciples under the auspices of BBT – the heart of ISKCON. Śrīla Narottama dāsa Ṭhākura has sung: rūpa-raghunātha-pade ha-ibe ākuti kabe hāma bujhaba se yugala-pīriti “When I am eager to understand the literature given by the Gosvāmīs, then I shall be able to understand the transcendental loving affairs of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa.” Highlighting this importance of literatures written by Six Gosvāmīs, Śrīla Prabhupāda writes in his Preface to Nectar of Instruction: “Therefore, to understand the mission of Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and follow in His footsteps, one must very seriously follow in the footsteps of the Six Gosvāmīs – Śrī Rūpa, Sanātana, Bhaṭṭa Raghunātha, Śrī Jīva, Gopāla Bhaṭṭa and Dāsa Raghunātha.” The package comes in a hand made box, designed as a portable home altar – with a beautiful picture of Six Gosvāmīs ornately decorated on the top of the box and Mahāmantra card within the box. The feel and look of the box takes you back to the days of the yore – in the countryside of Vraja Dhāma near the dwellings of the Six Gosvāmīs.
