As we are in the last phase of the MSF of Yoga of Co-operation, our Sankirtan team have been working intensely to meet the goals. We have a tough and challenging goal of distributing atleast 64 sets of Srimad Bhagavatam, 18,000 Bhagavad Gitas and 25 Goswami packages. Equally challenging is to meet the Lakshmi goal of collecting $72,000 for the Bhagavad Gita's. We need about $30,000 more in order to fulfill our goal. In order to achieve this, we are starting a fundraising campaign for Bhagavad Gita's starting December 2 2014 - January 4 2015. Let us all come together once again and contribute our part to this historic MSF of 2014.
We request you to kindly help in this great endeavor by sponsoring Bhagavad Gita's. The greatest charity is that of knowledge and it gives immense benefit to all the parties involved. Lord Krishna says in the Bhagavad-Gita that by gifting this book/transcendental knowledge, you save yourself and the receiver from the greatest danger.
Here is how you can help:
1. Sponsor cases yourself. Each case has 24 Soft bound Bhagavad Gita's and costs $108.
2. Challenge your friends and family to sponsor cases and ask them to nominate others.
3. Take the cases and distribute yourself
4. Take a pledge to get sponsorships for the cases. Many Hospitals, Prison Houses, Libraries and Motel Owners are willing to let us place the Bhagavad-gita in their premises, but are not willing or able to donate the small wholesale bulk publishing cost of $4.00 per book. Your Donations will allow us to place the Bhagavad-gita in the all the locations. Your donations can enlighten the lives of many.
On this auspicious day of Gita Jayanthi, what more can please the Lord than fulfilling His divine instructions of spreading the supreme most knowledge of the Gita to people of the world.
BG 18.68-69: "For one who explains this supreme secret to the devotees, pure devotional service is guaranteed, and at the end he will come back to Me. There is no servant more dear to me than he, nor will there ever be one more dear"
