SATURDAY, MAY 2 - SRI NARASIMHA CHATURDASHI FESTIVAL Narasimha Chaturdasi, also known as Narasimha Jayanti, is the appearance day or birthday of Lord Narasimha, the half-Lion and half-man incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The Narasimha Chaturdasi festival is of great significance to all Vaishnavas and is observed by fasting till the evening. Lord Narasimha Deva removes the obstacles in the path of devotional service. Devotees who pray to Him are always protected from all kinds of calamities. Join us for a nectarean discourse on the pastimes of Lord Narasimhadeva, ecstatic kirtan and sumptuous prasadam on this auspicious day. Since the Lord Nrsimha appeared at the time of dusk, the devotees fast until dusk on this day.
