Dear Friends,

Hope this meets you all well. We hope you had a wonderful long weekend. At ISV, we had an exciting weekend with the holy presence of H.H GopalaKrsna Goswami Maharaja. Its raining mercy at ISV with the visit of many different Swamis. This week we are fortunate to receive and host H.H Bhaktivinoda Swami who will enlighten us with wonderful discourses.

JULY 6, WEDNESDAY : AN EVENING OF KIRTAN

Some spiritual truths cannot be conveyed in words—but are carried instantly to the soul when experienced directly through the chanting of mantras. Join us tomorrow night to immerse yourself in the soul stirring kirtans! Our Children's Kirtan Band will also be performing for the first time on a Wednesday night.

Time: 6.00 – 8.00pm

JULY 9, SATURDAY: SRIMAD BHAGAVATAM DISCOURSE

Srila Prabhupada states,"Srimad Bhagavatam carries with it all transcendental blessings of Lord Sri Krsna that we can expect from his personal contact". This week, our speaker, H.G Koladwipa Prana Prabhu, will talk about the beautiful instructions by Jada Bharata to King Rahuguna as explained in the Bhagavatam. Join us for this enlivening discussion this Saturday morning!

JULY 10, SUNDAY - SUNDAY FEAST

We cordially welcome to our Sunday feast program this week which includes kirtan, Bhagavad Gita discourse, Arotik and delicious prasadam. 

His Holiness Bhakti Vinoda Swami Maharaj is a senior Vaishnava monk in the renounced order of Sannyas. A chemical engineering graduate from the National Institute of Technology at Trichy, South India, with a soaring and colorful past - having won awards for most outstanding student, cultural activities like drama, debate and as best singer/rhythm guitarist at a national level. Right at the start of a lucrative career back in the 80's, inspired by the teachings of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, he summarily disengaged himself from worldly life to become a full-time missionary, spreading the wisdom of the ancient Vedas worldwide.His focus is currently on outreach preaching, especially to the future of the world – our youth.

6.00pm: Sandhya Aartik followed by Announcements and Prasadam

VEDIC EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN

Vedic Academy offers Sunday School for kids from age group 3 - 15 yrs every Sunday from 4 - 6pm where kids learn about Vedic Culture, Slokas, Stories & Lessons from Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam etc., Bhajans and participate in Arts & Crafts, Dramas and much more.
