HARE KRSNA!

Dear Friends,

Hope this meets you all well. Living in a world filled with distractions, stress, anxiety and violence makes it difficult to experience positivity and fulfillment in life.It has become an essential need for every person in this world to live a positive life physically, mentally and spiritually, beyond the constant anxiety of facing this material world every moment. The formula is "Simple Living High Thinking". Our condition is exactly like a fish out of water. If a fish is taken out of the ocean and put  on land, it will flop around in great anguish until it is thrown back in. Similarly, when human beings are out of their natural spiritual environment, they also feel a deep-rooted anxiety that can be relieved only by returning to the life-sustaining atmosphere of a spiritual society.

With great happiness in our hearts, we welcome you to the ISKCON of Silicon Valley (ISV) where you can nourish your soul and live a positive spiritual life. We would like to invite you to the ISKCON of Silicon Valley for the events and classes this week.

Wednesday, March 26 - Bhagavad Gita Class

Srimad Bhagavatam, the greatest spiritual literature, is known as amalam puranam, spotless Purana as there is no comparison. It contains eighteen thousand verses and is known as the explanation of all Vedic literature. Being a immense treasure house of knowledge, ISV is excited to present a series of sessions based on this Supreme Vedic literature called the "Pearls of Bhagavatam". We invite you to the first session of the series this Sunday evening!

Speaker: H.G. Srivas Pandit Dasa

4.00 – 5.45pm: Presentation on "The Advent of Srimad Bhagavatam"

6.00pm: Arati followed by Sandhya Arati and Prasadam

First held in 1966 at the request of Srila Prabhupada (the founder of the Hare Krishna movement), the Sunday Love Feast has evolved as an integrated celebration of Lord Krishna’s pastimes: chanting, hearing spiritual knowledge, dancing, eating and generally sharing the bliss of Lord Krsna’s presence. Since then, this weekly Sunday Love Feast festival is celebrated in all Hare Krishna temples around the world. We extend a warm and hearty welcome to you, your friends and family. Please join us at ISV for this wonderful event every Sunday.

Furthermore, to offer sumptuous prasadam to the devotees is an auspicious activity. If you would like to sponsor a Sunday Feast, to commemorate a special occasion (like birthday or wedding anniversary) or just in general, please write to us at isvconnect@gmail.com. We will offer the bhoga to the Deities and serve prasadam to all the devotees in your name. Donation amount for the Sunday Feast is $301 only.
