Hope this meets you all well.
Janmastami, the birthday of Lord Krishna will be celebrated on Saturday, Sept 5th. This is the most grand festival of the year at ISKCON of Silicon Valley. We need every volunteer’s help to make this celebration a grand success and please Sri Sri Radha Madanamohana. Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu declared that “jīvera svarūpa haya — kṛṣṇera nitya-dāsa” (which means “It is the living entity's constitutional position to be an eternal servant of Kṛṣṇa”). So let us discover how sweet it is to serve Lord by volunteering during Krishna Janmastami.
We have prepared a list of services and the approximate time slots where you can enroll for services. Our Humble Request is that please sign up for services (same/multiple) throughout the day since that is the only way we can ensure that we have sufficient volunteers to cover the event and take care of all aspects to make program successful.
